One Month Old!

Aoife celebrated her month old birthday today. Here she is getting ready for the day by taking her very first bath! (at home) She didn't mind it at first, but i think she was in shock. Eventually, she realized what was going on and didn't like it at all. Her skin turned bright red and her little chin quivered. I really felt for her. We quickly dried her off, put her clothes on, and wrapped her up nice and warm. Within seconds she dropped off to a deep sleep in her co-sleeper. She usually doesn't fall asleep in it anymore. We were surprised that she fell asleep for hours. I guess that was way too much work for her.

Our friends Kristina, Mary, Martin, and Linda came over for a late lunch to celebrate with us. They brought some Thai food with them...yummy! Aoife had just woken up in time to be admired and held. She actually smiled at them. She has changed so much this past week. Linda and Kristina also noted how much she had changed since their last visit. She is acting more and more like a baby not a newborn.
